St. Luke's Episcopal Church honors the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi (c. 1180–1226), patron saint of animals and the environment, with a yearly Blessing of the Animals service.  This year we will bless the animals at our indoor services at 5 pm on Saturday Oct. 7.  Our Sunday 10 o'clock morning service will be held outside in the Patch.  All pets and their caretakers are invited to attend and celebrate the bond of creation.
